School Spirit Program
At SJCJC-U, school spirit is at the heart of campus life, uniting students and faculty in friendly competition and community engagement. All members of the college are randomly assigned to one of the four Great Houses: Locke, Thompson, Weber, and Zinkle. Throughout the academic year, these Houses compete for the coveted House Cup, a symbol of pride and achievement. Points are earned through participation in various school spirit activities, including house intramurals, volunteer opportunities, and campus-wide events. The excitement reaches its peak during Spirit Month in March, culminating in the House Cup Games, where the winning House is crowned. Whether on the field, in the classroom, or around campus, every activity builds toward this grand finale, fostering camaraderie and pride across the SJCJC-U community.
